Time Step Rescaling Recovers Continuous-Time Dynamical Properties for Discrete-Time Langevin Integration of Nonequilibrium Systems

When simulating molecular systems using deterministic equations of motion (e.g., Newtonian dynamics), such equations are generally numerically integrated according to a well-developed set of algorithms that share commonly agreed-upon desirable properties. However, for stochastic equations of motion (e.g., Langevin dynamics), there is still broad disagreement over which integration algorithms ar...

Stable Rough Extreme Learning Machines for the Identification of Uncertain Continuous-Time Nonlinear Systems

‎Rough extreme learning machines (RELMs) are rough-neural networks with one hidden layer where the parameters between the inputs and hidden neurons are arbitrarily chosen and never updated‎. ‎In this paper‎, ‎we propose RELMs with a stable online learning algorithm for the identification of continuous-time nonlinear systems in the presence of noises and uncertainties‎, ‎and we prove the global ...

Continuous integration and continuous deployment/delivery for software systems

Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) are software engineering techniques used to bring about rapid change to a software system or application. CI frequently integrates different developer copies of a code tree into the the central source code repository, while CD builds frequent releases of a code base. These techniques work together to make software integration easier and...

a new type-ii fuzzy logic based controller for non-linear dynamical systems with application to 3-psp parallel robot

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

Continuous Motion Plans for Robotic Systems with Changing Dynamic Behavior

The main objective of this paper is to address motion planning for systems in which the dynamic equations describing the evolution of the system change in different regions of the state space. We adopt the control theory point of view and focus on the planning of open loop trajectories that can be used as nominal inputs for control. Systems with changing dynamic behavior are characterized by: (...
